Thickness dependence of magnetotransport properties of tungsten ditelluride

We investigate the electronic structure of tungsten ditelluride (${\mathrm{WTe}}_{2}$) flakes with different thicknesses in magnetotransport studies. The temperature-dependent resistance and magnetoresistance (MR) measurements both confirm breaking carrier balance induced by thickness reduction, which suppresses ``turn-on'' behavior large positive MR. Shubnikov-de-Haas oscillation studies further thickness-dependent change ${\mathrm{WTe}}_{2}$ reveal a possible temperature-sensitive change. Finally, we report anisotropy Fermi surface, reveals that multilayer is an 3D material decreases as decreases.
